Nasarawa United head coach, Kabiru Dogo, believes his team would overcome their 3-0 defeat at Remo Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday and focus on their upcoming match against Abia Warriors.

Dogo said they will put the heavy loss at Remo Stars behind and prepare for the visit of Abia Warriors which is less than three days away.

He now hopes his side will return to winning ways when they play hosts to the Umuahia club at the Lafia City Stadium.

“The team’s spirit remains unbroken, and we are eager to put this setback behind us as quickly as possible.

“We will focus on our upcoming home game during the midweek (October 16, 2024) against Abia Warriors, where we will look to regain our momentum and get back to winning ways.

“The game is just three days from today, and we are mapping out strategies ahead of it. We will work on our strategy, make adjustments, and ensure we are ready to take on the challenge,” Dogo told Nasarawa United media.

Sikiru Alimi, Stanley Joseph and Ismail Sodiq scored for Remo Stars as they cruised to a 3-0 win and condemned the Solid Miners to their second defeat of the campaign.

All of the goals scored by Remo Stars came in the second half.
