In a bid to fire them up for the remaining matches of the 2023/24 NPFL, the management of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), has dangled improved match bonuses before the players of the Oluyole Warriors.
The Executive Chairman of the club, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, charged the players to go for victories in the remaining fixtures, starting from Tuesday’s Matchday 30 tie against Lobi Stars of Makurdi.
While addressing the team after Sunday evening’s training session, Honourable Akoro also promised to reward them handsomely, if they can win all or at least seven of the remaining fixtures.
“Having fulfilled our promise to pay you double bonuses for recent away wins, I’m here to tell you again that more financial rewards await you if you can win all or seven of the remaining matches.
“I stand here to make these promises on behalf of the Oyo State Government. You just get the job done and get your rewards”, stated the 3SC helmsman.
Captain of the team, Taofeek Malomo, while responding on behalf of the players, assured that they will do their best to get the desired results from the remaining nine matches.
