Barau FC head coach/technical adviser, Ladan Bosso, believes his side are ready for their first-ever match in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and are keen to win.
Bosso’s men play hosts to eight-time champions, Enyimba, at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano this Sunday (live on NPFL-Live) from 4pm.
The 57-year-old, who joined the NPFL new boys after leaving Bayelsa United at the end of last season, sounded confident stating that his “players are in good shape and high spirit” for the visit of the two-time CAF Champions League winners.
Bosso further pointed out that the mix of experience and youth in his side as well as the 12th man will help Barau FC overcome Enyimba.
“I am happy because I will see the support and zeal from the people of Kano State. We are here to make a difference, and we will ensure that we sustain the progress already made with Barau FC.
“I believe we are ready. The players are in good shape and high spirit. For me, facing Enyimba is not new, but I want to assure our fans that at the end of this match, we will win.
“My players are in a very good mood, which is important for me. I believe in positivity, and I have seen that positive energy in my team,” Bosso told the club’s media on the eve of the match.
