At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Bendel Insurance did not hold back the brakes as they came down heavily on visiting Wikki Tourists. The Benin Arsenals posted their biggest win of the campaign by hitting Wikki three-nil.

The champions, Remo Stars, suffered their seventh defeat of the season. They lost 0-1 to an early goal at Niger Tornadoes scored by Clinton Jephta on two minutes.
The win ensured Tornadoes climb into the top-three of the standings pending the outcome of Sunday’s matches in the NPFL.
Seven matches are lined up for Sunday including league-leading Nasarawa United playing on the road at Warri Wolves.
