Abayomi after an extensive football career that spanned over several clubs like Franger FC, NPA Warri, Delta United, Dolphins PH, Sharks PH, Plateau United, Mighty Jets, and Aklosendi FC of Lafia, is now the goalkeeper coach of NPFL returnee, Warri Wolves.
Today, as Warri Wolves’ goalkeeping department coach, his experience is believed to have shaped the team’s success so far as under his supervision, the goalkeepers have been exceptional, a key factor in their promotion last season.
And conceding just one goal in four NPFL games this season, proves Abayomi is doing a massive job worth recognition especially as the Seasiders aim to maintain their top-flight status.
