Kwara United head coach has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in their 3-2 win over over Nationwide League One (NLO) side, House of Prayer FC.
Sanni said his satisfaction stems from his team’s improved match fitness and tactical discipline.
He described the match as “a good test” for his side ahead of the coming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
“It was a good test for us. The boys are showing signs of readiness, but we must stay focused and committed to the pre-season programme to achieve our objectives this season,” Sanni said.
He also reminded the players of the importance of consistency, with the new NPFL season scheduled to kick off on August 22.

House of Prayer FC, who narrowly missed promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL), showed grit and quality, pulling two goals back through Abdulkadir Imam and Adama Isaiah in a match that highlighted the competitive edge and tactical strengths of both sides.
Kwara United will return to action on Thursday with another pre-season friendly against Blimz FC, scheduled for 4pm at the club’s training ground.
