Remo Stars midfielder, Tochukwu Raymond Michael, is full of praise for his teammates for securing a point off Enyimba in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture in Aba.
The Sky Blue Stars played out a goalless draw at the Enyimba Stadium and extended their impressive run of not losing to the People’s Elephant in seven league meetings.
Tochukwu Michael, a key player for Remo Stars, praised his team’s performance, highlighting their defensive solidity and attacking intent.
He expressed satisfaction with the point gained, especially considering the challenging atmosphere at the Enyimba Stadium.
“We came here with a clear game plan, and the boys executed it perfectly,” Tochukwu said.
“Our defence was solid, and we created some good chances upfront.
“A point away from home against a team like Enyimba is a good result for us.”
The draw leaves Remo Stars at the top of the NPFL table with 22 points from 11 games.
Tochukwu and the rest of his Remo Stars teammates, will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways, when they play hosts to Rivers United in a Matchday 12 encounter at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
